Um dos exemplos do pacote

Um SVG por camadas colorido a partir de uma tabela com poucas linhas de JavaScript simples: cada entidade é um path cujo id é o seu código oficial. A página mostra uma parte do país: os dois níveis partilham os mesmos limites, pelo que encaixam sem lacunas. O pacote contém todas as entidades de todos os níveis.

Leinster: as divisões eleitorais da cidade de Dublin, coloridas por área, entre as outras autoridades locais.

Cada entidade tem o mesmo identificador em todos os ficheiros: é o id da feature em GeoJSON e TopoJSON, o id do path em SVG e a coluna id das tabelas.

  • full: os limites tal como publicados pela fonte.
  • 100m: simplificado com uma tolerância de 100 m e coerente: os níveis (áreas urbanas, divisões eleitorais, autoridades locais e províncias) partilham exatamente os mesmos vértices de fronteira.
  • 1km: simplificado com uma tolerância de 1 km e coerente como o 100m, em todos os níveis: o país inteiro num mapa web.
  • 10km: simplificado com uma tolerância de 10 km e coerente, apenas para país, províncias e autoridades locais: mapas pequenos e mapas de vários países.
  • Nas fronteiras com os países vizinhos (Reino Unido), os limites 100m, 1km e 10km têm os mesmos vértices que nos seus pacotes, por isso os mapas encaixam sem espaços nem sobreposições.
  • light: apenas para país, províncias e autoridades locais, cada nível simplificado separadamente num ficheiro pequeno.
  • GeoJSON: uma FeatureCollection por nível, WGS84. TopoJSON: todos os níveis numa só topologia, os limites partilhados são arcos partilhados.
  • GeoPackage: data/geopackage/ie.gpkg (185,5 MB), um ficheiro para QGIS e ArcGIS com cada nível em cada escala como camada (municipalities_100m) com o respetivo índice espacial, e todas as tabelas do pacote.
  • Shapefile: um por nível e escala, WGS84, UTF-8; as colunas com mais de dez caracteres são abreviadas (region, province, abbrev).
  • SVG: um ficheiro por nível e um com todos os níveis em camadas, na projeção cónica conforme de Lambert; abrem-se como camadas no Illustrator, no Figma e no Inkscape.
  • SQL: um script para PostGIS, um para MySQL 8 e um para SQL Server (7,6 MB cada). Cria uma tabela com todas as entidades de todos os níveis, o respetivo limite 100m em WGS84 e os índices.
  • JSON: data/json/tree.json (355 KB), os níveis encadeados e ordenados por nome, sem limites: o necessário para as listas de seleção de um formulário.
